Crowborough Mountain Bikers are a collection of blokes who enjoy the challenge of mountain biking, be it locally around Crowborough, or further afield.

Who are we?
Are we a club?.. oh no
Are we a bunch of blokes out for a challenge and a good ride.... Absolutely

Where do we ride?
We ride local trails around Crowborough, the South Downs and North Downs, We aim to get away a few times a year to Wales and the Lake District. Read the journals to get a better feel.

What riding do we do?
Most of our riding is cross country and trail riding, though we try to find routes that challenge us. Most weekend rides are between 20 and 30 miles long with a vertical climb of around 500 meters. Don't be put off though, rides are social with plenty of chatting and the slowest rider always gets a break.

Our ethos:
Get out, ride, create a challenge, but most of all enjoy ourselves.

Can you join us?

Of course you can, get in touch through the contacts page.

Rides are normally on a Sunday morning from 8am and last between 3 and 4 hours, they are social, we aren't roadies!

Don't worry if you're slow, we are a mixed ability group of ages so you won't get left behind.

We do like you to wear a helmet, even Alvar wears one these days, because they've saved most of us on one or two occasions, they also give us a laugh because they make your hair look like this!
